QUESTION OF THE DAY: My son starts kindergarten in a little more than three weeks, and we’ve just begun the whole school schedule readjustment period after lots of late summer nights and sleeping in past breakfast time. Any tips on getting the bedtime routine and schedule back on track? Do you ease ‘em into it, or just let them make the most of what’s left of their summer vacation and make the change overnight right before school’s back in session? Join the conversation on OUR FACEBOOK PAGE.

HOLLYWOOD

No hard feelings between Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin. The CNN journalist revealed that he's still friend with the comedian even after criticizing her for posting that tasteless picture of herself holding a bloodied Trump mask in May.  When it was making headlines, Cooper called the photo shoot "clearly disgusting" but clarified Tuesday night he's still tight with Griffin.  He said "Yeah, we're still friends.  You know, I said what I said about I didn't think what she said was appropriate, but I wish her the best and I hope she bounces back."  Shortly after the photos of Griffin holding that terrible decision on her Twitter page, she was canned from her long-standing gig hosting New Years Eve alongside Cooper on CNN - and after a quick apology, she's gone pretty much silent since the incident.

The not-always-reliable tabloid Us Weekly is reporting that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West not only selected their surrogate, but she's already three months along in the pregnancy.  If this is true, the timeline would have the West-Kardashian clan planning for a January expansion.  According to the tabloid, the surrogate is a San Diego woman in her late 20s who has served as a surrogate before.  Kimyay will shell out $4500 per month for ten months to the woman, and have already made a $68,000 deposit to the agency who likely found them their surrogate.  The two wanted another child after 19 month old Saint was born, but Kim's doctors said another pregnancy would likely lead to serious health complications.

Speaking of tabloids and the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian and O.J. Simpson will not be taking DNA tests after he is released from prison, despite a sensational report from the tabloids.  The story is based on the discredited rumor that Simpson may be Kardashian’s father.

And Angelina Jolie tells Vanity Fair magazine that she has Bells Palsy.  During an interview in this month's issue, she says "Sometimes women in families put themselves last,” she says in the interview, “until it manifests itself in their own health.”  Bell’s palsy occurs when a nerve in the face becomes swollen or inflamed, triggering symptoms like muscle weakness, drooling, a drooping eyelid or corner of the mouth, twitching, or paralysis, which can come on quickly. These symptoms usually affect one side of the face, and typically worsen over 48 hours.  It's not a terribly uncommon disease as 40,000 Americans are diagnosed with it each year.  While there isn't any real telling what causes Bells Palsey, most people recover completely from it in a few weeks to a few months without any real risk of long-term complications.
