Walk for Wishes Event Building Momentum in Twin Falls This Week

Community support is ramping up in Twin Falls this week as organizers continue preparing for the upcoming Walk for Wishes Magic Valley event benefiting Make-A-Wish Idaho.

The annual fundraiser is set for May 30 in Twin Falls, and organizers say local businesses, families, volunteers, and fundraising teams have been stepping up over the past several days to help support Idaho children facing critical illnesses. Teams continue registering this week while donation drives and sponsorship efforts grow leading up to the event.

Make-A-Wish Idaho says funds raised through the Magic Valley event stay connected to helping grant wishes for children across Idaho, including families right here in Southern Idaho.

Organizers say community participation has continued growing every year as more local residents get involved through fundraising teams, volunteer efforts, and donations.

And honestly, this is one of those events that reminds you the Magic Valley really does show up when kids need help. People here will absolutely rally around a good cause faster than they’ll merge properly in the Costco parking lot.

The event will include family activities, fundraising walks, community booths, and local teams participating throughout the day.

Make-A-Wish officials say every dollar raised helps provide life-changing experiences for children dealing with serious medical challenges while also giving families moments of hope during difficult times.
