The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Magic Valley are getting ready for one of their biggest fundraising events of the summer, and community support is already building this week.
Organizers announced final preparations are underway for the upcoming Title One Charity Golf Classic happening June 1, with sponsorships and donations continuing to come in from local businesses and supporters across the Magic Valley.
The annual fundraiser helps support programs serving children and teens throughout Twin Falls, Jerome, Buhl, and Rupert.
The organization says money raised goes toward after-school programs, mentoring opportunities, educational resources, meals, and youth activities for local kids throughout the year.
It’s always good seeing businesses around here put real money back into helping local kids instead of just slapping “community supporter” on a Facebook banner once a year and disappearing into the void.
The Boys & Girls Clubs say the fundraiser plays a major role in helping keep youth programs affordable and accessible for families throughout Southern Idaho.
Community sponsors, volunteers, and local businesses continue helping organize the event as participation grows heading into the tournament.
Officials say support from the Magic Valley community continues making a huge impact for local students and families every year.
