Question of the Day:  Over the weekend, we bought the first few supplies we’ll need for Thanksgiving-palooza at my house.  This year, are you HOSTING the feast, or are you attending somebody else’s feast?  And, what’s your “specialty” dish – you know, the one you’re super proud of and will either make sure everybody tries at your own feast, or make sure you bring with to somebody else’s feast?  (Broc)

At the box office, Thor: Ragnarok held on to the number one spot for the second week in a row over the weekend bringing in an estimated 56.6 million dollars domestically.  Daddy's Home 2 with Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrel debuted in 2nd place with a 30 million dollar opening weekend.  Murder on the Orient Express debuted in 3rd with 28.2 million.  A Bad Mom's Christmas slips two spots to land at fourth over the weekend, bringing in 11.5 million.  And rounding out the top 5 was Jigsaw, which slips from 3rd place last weekend.  It brought it 3.4 million.

Taylor Swift’s Reputation is on track to give Taylor her biggest sales week yet, selling around 700,000 copies in the U.S. on its first day of release, according to initial sales reports to Nielsen Music.  The set was released at midnight eastern time on Friday through Big Machine Records.  Its first day sales figure could grow even larger, after all of Nielsen’s retail reporters have submitted their sales for the day.  If the album keeps up that sizzling sales pace, it could sell over 1 million copies in the tracking week ending Nov. 16.  And according to industry sources, it's on track to earn Swift her largest sales week ever. Its debut week could surpass the debut frame of her last album, 1989, which bowed with 1.29 million copies sold in its first week, according to Nielsen Music.  I've admittedly listened to the album a few times, and it's certainly not my favorite workings of Taylor - but still worth a listen.  As I explained to my wife, it seems like she spent a little too much time with Calvin Harris - as most of the album, instead of drums, guitars and keyboards - is littered with sounds of electronic dance music... and meanwhile, her vocals are a mismatch when thrown up against thumps, zaps, and sound effects.  Only my opinion, though.

Just a few days after hosting the CMA Awards, Carrie Underwood took a fall on the steps outside of her home which landed her multiple injuries — including a broken wrist. She also was treated for cuts and abrasions at the hospital on Friday before being released, according to a statement from her rep. Her husband Mike Fisher, whom she wed in 2010, traveled back to Nashville overnight to be with her.  Underwood later addressed the injury through Twitter, thanking fans for their support on Sunday.  She said “Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody... I’ll be alright... might just take some time.  Glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me.”
