Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal rollover crash that happened yesterday morning on Interstate 84 in Elmore County. Troopers say a 21-year-old Boise woman lost control of her Subaru, overcorrected, and overturned. She died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

πŸš” DEADLY WEEKEND CRASHES β€” NORTH IDAHO / EASTERN IDAHO

Idaho State Police are investigating two deadly crashes over the weekend. Near Sandpoint, a four-vehicle crash on Highway 95 claimed the life of a 66-year-old woman. South of Ririe, a 44-year-old Idaho Falls woman was killed when her car was struck while attempting a left turn on Highway 26.

✈ ICE FLIGHTS β€” TWIN FALLS

Nearly 50 ICE-related flights have moved through Twin Falls since April, according to flight records. The flights transported detainees through a network of detention centers across multiple states, with many eventually heading to Phoenix. Immigration attorneys say the increase appears tied to a sharp rise in detention and enforcement activity nationwide.

🌊 SNAKE RIVER SEARCH β€” SWAN FALLS DAM

Search crews resumed efforts today near Swan Falls Dam after a 19-year-old man disappeared in the Snake River yesterday afternoon. Officials say the young man’s father was safely rescued, but despite boats, drones, and dive teams, the search has now shifted from rescue to recovery.

🀠 CSI RODEO β€” COLLEGE NATIONAL FINALS

The College of Southern Idaho wrapped up the College National Finals Rodeo with a strong showing from sophomore Ella Begger. The CSI breakaway roper advanced to Saturday’s championship round and finished 10th overall in the nation. Begger was the lone Golden Eagle to qualify for a finals go-round after helping CSI capture the Rocky Mountain Region women’s title.

🏈 ASHTON JEANTY β€” YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP

Former Ashton Jeanty is giving back to the community that helped launch his football career. The former Boise State star returned to Boise over the weekend to host a youth football camp at Bishop Kelly High School. Hundreds of young athletes took part in drills, games, and skill-building activities while learning directly from one of Boise State’s all-time greats. Jeanty says Boise gave him so much, and hosting the camp is his way of investing in the next generation of players.

πŸ… HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS β€” IHSAA CHANGES

Big changes are coming to Idaho high school sports next year. The Idaho High School Activities Association is splitting the girls wrestling state tournament into two divisions for the 2026-27 season as participation in the sport continues to grow. Locally, Canyon Ridge, Minico, and Twin Falls will compete in Division One, while other area schools will be in Division Two. Idaho is also adding a standalone 1A state track and field championship, ending the combined 1A-2A state meet format beginning next spring.

The 4th annual PBR Classic packed the Twin Falls Fairgrounds Saturday night with fans from across the Magic Valley. More than 30 riders took on some tough bulls, but only two managed to make the full eight-second ride. The evening wrapped up with a concert following the action in the arena.
